MEET LORI TELL, CPA
Lori Tell is a U.S. and Canadian CPA with more than 30 years of accounting, finance, and business experience. Her career has ranged from public accounting and owning an accounting practice serving small businesses to senior financial leadership for a $100M+ private-equity-backed organization.
Her experience spans manufacturing and distribution, oil & gas, aerospace, construction, real estate, and professional services. Throughout her career, Lori has been responsible for financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash-flow management, financial analysis, accounting operations, process improvement, ERP implementations, and leading accounting and finance teams.
Lori also brings the perspective of a business owner. She previously owned an accounting practice serving small businesses and later owned and operated a residential construction company, giving her firsthand experience managing the financial and operational challenges business owners face. She understands that owners need more than accurate financial statements—they need timely, reliable information they can understand and use to make better business decisions.
Through Horizon CFO Solutions, Lori brings this combination of small-business ownership experience and senior financial leadership to businesses that need stronger financial information, greater financial visibility, and experienced guidance without necessarily hiring a full-time Controller or CFO.
